Intimate and relaxed Garden Island Resort has 30 air-conditioned and well-appointed rooms, each with a balcony or patio offering views over the Somosomo Strait. Spend your time diving and snorkelling the Rainbow Reef; sit back on your oceanfront balcony and enjoy a magnificent sunset; or take off and explore the beauty of the island, it's up to you!

The Resort has two fresh water swimming pools, including one for the kids.  Excellent child care is available for approximately FD$2.50 per hour.   There are some lovely sandy beaches within a short distance from the resort (5-10 minutes).  Set your own pace, explore the beauty of the island - waterfalls, rainforest treks, village visits or nearby golf.

The small beach in front of the resort is a mixture of sand and coral.  Most guests swim and snorkel in front of the resort and then relax on lounge chairs around the swimming pool.

The resort has a bar/lounge and an excellent restaurant which looks out over the ocean.  You can enjoy breakfast and dinner in the dining room or on the terrace.  Lunch is also served here, or the resort kitchen will provide boxed lunches for day trips.  Only fresh produce, including local fruits, vegetables and fish are used.   The resort has an excellent resident band, with fine Fijian guitar & vocals, playing nightly from 6 pm.  Come and listen to them as you watch the sun set over the sea!

BUDGET 4 SHARE:
These rooms are available for the budget minded.  The resort, where possible, puts couples together (i.e. 2 couples sharing 1 room) or people of the same gender.  The rooms are large, very clean and comfortable, with fan cool and own bathroom, refrigerator plus tea/coffee making facilities.  The rooms have 2 comfortable sets of bunks (4 single beds) plus lockers.

OCEAN VIEW ROOMS:

These studio-type rooms have all recently been refurbished and are decorated in traditional Fijian flare.  Each includes a queen size bed plus a single bed, refrigerator, tea and coffee making facilities and air-conditioning.  Each room has a balcony from which you can admire the commanding view of Somosomo Straits (and the occasional Pilot whale) with the second largest island of Fiji, Vanua Levu, in the back-ground.

FAMILY ROOMS:  
2 ocean view rooms with inter-connecting doors.  The childrens’ room is half price!
