The name "Galapagos" conjures up images of a pristine environment – above and below the water. Indeed the waters around these islands are home to an amazing variety of fish species and invertebrates, some unique to these enchanted islands, that make the Galapagos archipelago truly one of, if not the best, dive locations on the planet.
During just one dive you could expect to see snake eels, schools of eagle rays, sea lions, dolphins, whale sharks, pilot whales, manta rays, a big school of amberjacks, turtles, yellow fin tuna, hundreds of hammerhead sharks, Galapagos sharks and white tip reef sharks. The big fish action is legendary – the best we’ve found!
Live-aboard is again the best way to see the Galapagos Islands. In the Galapagos you will do two dives per day, and take two land trips to see the giant turtles, iguanas, and other creatures that make these islands famous.
