Tropical Dive Times. Dive Fish Snow Travel Diving Newsletter
Start planning now for 2009 winter Diving Holiday

Hi %%fname%% %%lname%%,

You often hear, or read, about divers’ amazing experiences in exotic dive locations, featuring stories of manta rays, hammerhead sharks, humpback whales and their newborn calves, pristine untouched reefs, WWII shipwrecks, caves and a profusion of technicolour marine life.

You too can become part of these stories. Here at Dive Fish Snow Travel it is our passion and pleasure to help clients experience their own diving dreams and adventures. Let us help you plan your next dive trip overseas.

I have just returned from my own dream adventure to Komodo National Park in Indonesia with 10 other Kiwi divers. Just about every day we dived close up and personal with sharks, manta rays and big schools of fish. We walked among wild prehistoric Komodo Dragons, and watched them hunting deer, pigs and monkeys foraging in forests and on beaches behind our comfortable liveaboard “Seven Seas”.

But dreams don’t just happen overnight. They need nurturing and planning. Early. Which brings us to the main message here:

Planning Early has Huge Rewards
Divers fall into 2 categories – “the quick and the dead”.

The “quick” diver is quick off the mark to pick up the hot deals, plan their next dive adventure, save up for it, and dream about it. They save a heap of $$ along the way, get the best deals, the best moon phases and the best accommodation on the dates they want.

The “dead” diver is “dead unlucky”. He procrastinates, and by the time he gets around to actually booking a dive holiday, finds the earlybird specials, cheap seats on planes and the small remote dive resorts are full – probably with all the “quick” divers!

Your Very own Round Tuit

For years you’ve been saying “I’ll do it when I get around to it.”

Now you have your very own Round Tuit, you’d better get around to it and get yourself the diving holiday you deserve.

The bottom line: At Dive Fish Snow Travel we want to help you get the very best deals, biggest savings, best resorts and best moon phases to dive. So you can Dive your Dollar Further in your own slice of tropical diving paradise next Winter.

In This Issue
Dive Holiday Tips on How to stretch your dollar further.
  • Huge Savings“Earlybird Specials” are called just that as they need to be booked EARLY. By March when you are thinking about needing a winter holiday soon, the specials are all gone.
  • Cheap seats on planes always sell out first, and fast. There is only a limited number of cheap seats on any flight, and once they’re gone, they’re gone.
  • Domestic flights to remote dive locations are often on small planes and they can fill up quickly, especially if a dive group is heading there when you want to.
  • Dive operators in the best dive locations are often small operations who can only accommodate a small number of guests. They are often booked out months in advance, especially with dive groups.
  • Accommodation and Resort specials are only valid while the Resorts have plenty of availability. Once rooms start filling up for those prime winter diving months, the specials are no longer available.
  • The best diving times often result from predictable phenomena such as moon phases, tides and wind patterns, coral spawning and plankton blooming that attracts the manta’s and whale sharks, and that’s when all those “quick “divers book themselves in.

Our Recommendation
  1. Start planning NOW, before the Christmas rush takes over your life, before summer keeps you flat out and before it’s TOO LATE.
  2. Consider the benefits of getting your reservations in place now:
  • You’ll get the Earlybird Specials
  • You’ll get  the cheapest flights
  • You’ll avoid future fuel surcharges
  • You’ll get the best domestic flight connections
  • In a lot of cases you’ll get next year’s holiday at this year’s price
  • You’ll be there at the best time to dive
  • You’ll have time to budget and save for your holiday
  • You get to book in your annual leave before everyone else does.
  • Best of all, you’ll get to dive in an exotic location next Winter, and have time to look forward to it, and save for it.

Plan for a holiday in 2009

Don’t be left out in the cold next winter. Try one of these hot holidays:

  • Swim with humpback whales in Tonga or Niue
  • Dive with manta rays in PNG, Indonesia, Solomon Islands or Micronesia
  • WWII wrecks in the Solomons, PNG, Philippines, Vanuatu or Truk Lagoon
  • Soft corals and sharkfeeds in Fiji
  • Big fish action on remote offshore reefs like Sipadan, Layang Layang
  • A liveaboard adventure that dives the best
