At Happy Valley, you can speed downhill on truck-sized inner tubes, the kids can ride their own snowmobile and Big White’s skating pond is ideal for a classic Canadian game of hockey or a leisurely ice skate.

Tubing

Jump in a tube and speed downhill on North America’s largest resort tubing park. Located in Happy Valley you’re just a short gondola ride from the Village Centre. With friends or by yourself, this exciting ride should not to be missed during your stay on the mountain.

Skating

Rent some skates and test your hockey skills on one of two fantastic outdoor ponds. If you’re not a hockey player there is plenty of room for you and your whole family to enjoy the rink with a leisurely skate.

Snowshoeing

Tour wooded trails on foot, allowing you to fully appreciate the mountain’s breathtaking beauty.

Snowmobiling

This exciting activity takes guests on guided scenic tours through the forest trails and back country of Big White Ski Resort. Drive your own snow mobile or double up with a friend.

Weekly Calendar of Events

Big White has a wide range of weekly events including the "Taste of Big White", which provides guests a chance to sample all the resort has to offer, from fine cuisine to on hill activities like snowmobiling or ice skating. There are bonfire and hot chocolate nights, Bingo, fireworks, "Carnival Nights" for the kids full of great games, face painting, popcorn, cotton candy and amazing prizes. Another popular event is "Big White Idol" held every Wednesday evening or sit back and relax at one of our "Movie Nights".
