With ski in, ski out accommodations and an 8-passenger gondola in the Village centre, you’ll have no problem getting around. For added convenience, Big White’s main street is actually a ski run, where guest can ski to their doorstep or stroll through the village shopping and dining in world-class restaurants and pubs.

This completely ski in, ski out modern village provides everything you will need for a great vacation, all within walking distance to your accommodation, making getting to the various shops, restaurants, kids centre and other amenities worry free. Whether you’ll like to drop by the gym, get your hair done, or a need a quick trip to the doctor its all there.

Kids & Family Events and Activities

When the chairlifts close, the resort comes alive with exciting activities for all ages. Join in the weekly torchlight parade, watch the fireworks spectacular, win prizes at the kids’ carnival night, and meet new friends at the “Taste of Big White” or around the open air fire pits. Mum and Dad can relax and enjoy one of the many restaurants or pubs while the kids have pizza and a movie, hang-out in the teen centre, or go ice skating and tubing. Tour the village on a nostalgic horse drawn cutter sleight, indulging in a soothing massage or esthetics treatment and find the perfect gift, logo wear or ski / board equipment in one of the many retail outlets.

Pick up the basics at the Market at Big White. The Market also offers a deli, video/DVD rentals and alcohol, featuring a great selection of local BC and international wines. The Market at Big White is now four times larger than before, with lots of new services including a 60 seat deli that provides yet another great place to eat on the mountain.

After dinner, there are just as many options for fun. Take the kids out to enjoy one of the many family fun activities. Every night there is something different and exciting happening at Big White. From live après entertainment, to movie nights, outdoor bonfires, fireworks, and carnival nights, the whole family can keep enjoying the mountain when the sun goes down.

Sample some of Big White’s night life with the help of the Kids Centre evening supervised programmes. Snowshoe Sam’s, voted Canada’s #1 Ski Bar and Best Après Ski Venue in North America, boasts a great pub atmosphere with meals, après-ski , games, DJ entertainment and live bands. Sam’s is definitely the number one place to go for a night of fun.
