Terrain Park
Other resorts in the region may be eliminating “air” from their terrain parks, but Panorama is going BIG! New this year, the main terrain park will run the entire length of Showoff, directly under the Mile One Quad and in full view of the village. Panorama now has the biggest and best terrain park in the Canadian Rockies region which features tabletop jumps, hips, spines, rails, and boxes to accommodate freestyle riders of all abilities.
Mountain Cafes
Elkhorn Cabin:

located midway down the Roller Coaster ski run, the Elkhorn Cabin is open to the public daily for “Real Canadian” luncheons or Western BBQ dinners with friends, followed by a guided torchlight parade down the mountain
Cappuccino Hut: meet up with family and friends to enjoy an intimate lunch and stunning views from our cozy 18-foot tepee. Daily menu includes hot & cold beverages, bakery treats, & BBQ specialties.
Summit Hut: Panorama’s most elevated experience, located at 7800 feet. It boasts authentic hot chocolate and delicious stir-fries! Book in advance for an après-ski cheese fondue and a private descent after hours! Catch the last lift to the Summit and have the Mountain to Yourselves!
Novice Facilities
Over the next three years, Panorama Mountain Village plans to improve facilities for novice skiers and riders. The bunny slope has been re-graded and widened by 20 meters. Panorama has also installed a brand new 450 foot magic carpet to replace the old handle-toe, making it much easier for first time riders. This new carpet is in addition to the existing 70 foot carpet that accesses a 10% graded slope; perfect for the wee ones.
Grooming
Panorama’s state-of-the-art snowcat fleet travels 220 kilometres every night to prepare our renowned skiing and riding surface for the next day. New this year, Panorama will groom areas of Founder’s Ridge, opening more groomed terrain for intermediate skiers and riders.
Mountain Friends
Every day at 10:00am and 1:30pm, meet at the yellow Mountain Friends sign at the base of the hill for a complimentary tour of the mountain.
