Terrain Park
Sun Peaks Terrain Park spans over 9 acres, covering 3 levels of riding, with multiple features possible all in one lap of the park. Park Designer Toby Ianson and his crew are meticulous in keeping the park fresh and buffed every day. The park features two levels of riding – one park with green to blue features, and the other park stepping from blue to black features. For 2007-08 they will be expanding the intermediate park and adding more features to help young riders reach the next level. Features in the park include a massive hip, tables in a wide range of sizes, a show-case step up, rails and boxes for all ability levels, and the new Blue Bird wall ride. Both parks are located off the Sundance Express chairlift.

Grooming
Grooming is how ski resorts make the snow on their trails better to ski and snowboard on. A snowcat is a large tractor with attachments on both the front and back made to move and shape snow. Every night at Sun Peaks Resort fleet of snowcats are out on the mountains. When a large amount of snow has fallen, usually a groomer will go out to pack the snow on the some of the blue and most of the green runs. When snow does not fall the snowcat fleet resurfaces the runs, and even spreads snow made by snowguns.
