Just a half hour from Salt Lake City lies an aptly named perfect place to ski. It’s a simple, peaceful world that can only be described as “Solitude”. Boasting over 500” / 1,270cm of annual snowfall covering 1200 acres /485 hectares of steeps, chutes and wide-open bowls, meticulously groomed runs, plenty of trees, jaw-dropping views, and with no crowds or lift lines, nothing can come between you and your Solitude!

Terrain Park
Solitude has a family-friendly terrain park designed for everyone, whether you’re a skier or a snowboarder, young or old, first timer or veteran. Features are all snow-based with no steel structures at all.
There are two table-tops, each with a different take off, a 15' /4.5mtr fun-box, two small hips and two different sets of rollers. One set of rollers is smaller for children while the larger one is perfect for perfecting your switch landings.
Grooming
Solitude’s aggressive grooming initiative offers groomed runs for each ability level, including some of the advanced runs.
Getting to the Resorts
Solitude Mountain Resort is just a 40-minute drive from the Salt Lake City International Airport to the base of the alpine village. During the winter season, public transportation is available from locations throughout the Salt Lake valley including the airport
If you are staying in Salt Lake City expect a 35-minute drive, or from the mouth of the canyon about 20 minutes.
